Six spellers - Olive Ostrovsky, William Barfée, Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre, Marcy Park, Leaf Coneybear and Chip Tolentino - compete at the annual spelling bee at Putnam Valley Middle School in Putnam County, NY. Flashbacks and insight reveal personal details about each of the spellers in this musical that explores the idea that winning isn’t everything.   This is a PG13 show.
